Happy Earth Day

"Treat the earth well: it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children. We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children."

It's a great proverb, and I really enjoyed scrolling back to your roadside finds and learning one of the ways you've been preserving the earth for your little Pony Girl! Sorry to hear about the grotty stuff too - life gets like that. I'm mega-busy and have decided to spend a week visiting blogging friends rather than posting, as I just don't have time for both. I'm looking forward to it!

Happy Earth Day to you all!

yes, because if we thought of it as something we borrowed from our parents we would know that they would probably forgive us for buggering it up... better to think of it as borrowing from the smalls... that way we may be more careful... i feel like my little family does pretty well.

Lovely proverb. Leave the earth a little better than you found it.
